A Break From HDSLR

I have been working on this interesting project since it’s inception in September. Specialized Bicycle Components, is trying to enter a new type of market for them, fixed gear freestyle riding. Basically you have a full-sized track bike, that’s over engineered like a BMX bike. Then you take a new generation of fearless young riders, and you have a very cool story. We have been working on a documentary for them, showing their sponsored riders work on the very first prototype and following their journey to the roll out of the production model. I thought it would be cool to intercut high speed film footage with the rest of the project that has been shot on HDSLR. 800ft of 7207 and few phone calls, I was able to secure an ARRI SR3 camera package. Check out the short vid below on this very cool camera.

Jared Abrams is a cinematographer based in Hollywood, California. After many years as a professional camera assistant he switched over to still photography. About two years ago a new Canon camera changed the way the world sees both motion and still photography. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Looks great Chris, how did the footage turn out? I guess my big question is, what did you think of the lenses?
