The Red Rock Micro Nano rig is a great way to jump into the game.  I’ve seen alot of people buy shoulder support rigs from less reputable brands to save some pennies, and I have to say that it just isn’t worth it.  The major factor to consider when purchasing a rig is stability.  The Red Rock Micro Nano Rig offers three points of stabilization while allowing your free hand to pull focus freely.

As an avid user of the Red Rock Micro Eye Spy Deluxe shoulder rig, I find that the Nano rig is great for run and gun shooting if the shoulder mount it too bulky for your purposes.  This allows you, as an operator, to tuck into more confined spaces and maintain similar results.  It’s a great entry level rig with endless options for upgrading.  This is a killer rig for such a low price.
