Wow. If that is the case why is the d90 video not up to pair like d7000 or any of canons. No manual video controls and 720p compression probably hurt the quality right there.

Oh and as a side note is there less rolling shutter in the C300. I notice little effert to really improving the refresh speed. The D7000 looks to have it the lease out of the canons. Even with a 70-200 on It still very noticeable when paning fast but seems to currect itselt quicker and i have better results hand held shots with no jelly anomalies showing up.

No sir, motion JPEG is pretty awesome...especially since it doesn't have to pick up the hardware's slack. This and the C300 are going to be awesome to work with. Easy and efficient, and fantastic images!

About the compresstion being motion jpeg. Isn't that a downgrade from doing a quicktime or avc format. I had the d90 that recorded motion jpeg and found post production to be difficult and result were ok. With a Dslr that records in the quicktime h.264 format to have much improved quaity and post was easier with day and night results.

I was just going to ask you about these very pictures and announcements. You mentioned in an earlier blog to wait for a rebel version of the 1dx and hoped of a 5Dmk3 too. The pictues today made me want to ask you if you thought that this would still be the case. I guess you answered my question before I even had the chance to ask!
