no it’s a 4k camera – plus you would idealy record via the HDSDI or hdmi out to a 10bit uncompressed codec (of your choice)

I think CMOS is pretty much the industry standard for chips at this point. They are cheaper to produce and a little bit more efficient.

10-bit 422 out just like the F3. Onboard codec is more robust than F3. XDCAM EX @ 4:2:0 35mb/s vs XF MPEG2 @ 4:2:2 50mb/s both 8 bit onboard

No. It records to the XF Codec. 10mbyte/sec mpeg

5D records to 5:2:0 and 4.8mbyte/sec. So you are basically getting double the amount of info the same resolution.
