Get Paid On The Spot With Square App.

Dan Bailey wrote an article on The Photoletariat about this killer  App called Square that lets you take credit cards with your  iPhone or iPad. It also works with The Android platform. This could be a great solution for any freelance person out there. The system is pretty simple. They send you a card reader that plugs into you phone via the headphone jack and swipe away. Square charges a flat fee of 2.75% + 15¢ for card swiped sales and 3.5% + 15¢ for keyed in sales. It takes between 2-4 days for the money to transfer to your bank account. That’s it! No other charges. Get paid on the spot.  Here is a rip from their site.

“The process is very simple, you simply open the app, plug in the reader, enter the customer, sale info and amount into your phone. You then swipe the credit cards through the reader and have your customer sign with their finger on the touch screen. The sale authorization is shown on the phone and the receipt is sent electronically. Done.
