We are proud to announce that “Grand comme le Baobab” AKA “Tall As A Baobab Tree” got into the Montreal Film Festival. This was the first feature that Wide Open Camera helped produce. Wish us luck and follow the journey to Canada. Here is a rip from Director Jeremy Teicher’s email.

“We are very excited to announce our WORLD PREMIERE will be held at the Montreal World Film Festival (Festival des Films du Monde) this August! Grand comme le Baobab is playing in the First Films World Competition. Montreal is a major worldwide festival with a focus on encouraging cultural diversity and understanding, attracting an international market of film distributors. We also love that we won’t get lost in the crowds following movie stars and anticipate a strong interest in our film! Stay tuned for more details on screening times.”
