“There are two styles of transmitters available for use with any of the three receivers. The camera powered V-WHT-A “stick” transmitter plugs directly into the HDMI output port on most video cameras while the V-WHT-B “belt” transmitter can be worn on the camera operator’s belt or mounted to the camera hot shoe. Each transmitter has an HDMI 1.3 interface, a 30-meter range and supports a maximum video resolution 1080p 60Hz. with no line of sight restriction.”

“The V-LCD70MDW and V-LCD90MDW system uses of two of Marshall’s most popular Camera-top field monitors and exciting new WHDI wireless technology. Together they allow freedom of movement without the restraints of cables during video production.

The basic building blocks of the system consist of the V-LCD70MDW modular 7″ camera-top field monitor and the V-LCD90MDW 9″ camera-top field monitor with a choice of two wireless receiver battery mounting plates: V-ABR and V-VMR. In addition, a standalone DC battery powered V-WHR receiver is available for use with any monitor that accepts an HDMI Input.

Each Monitor can be ordered with the MD-3GE 3G input module or the MDO-3G dual 3G output module. When using the MDO-3G output module, the HDSDI signal from the WHDI receiver will be automatically cross-converted to 3G-HDSDI for distribution to other monitors on the set.”
