And I believe that it acted differently for different lenses.

I agree that this looks too much like the Okii controller not to be a knockoff. And at $460 it’s about $310 more than I’d be willing to pay for it. Prove me wrong but I don’t think this is going to be the follow focus device that I buy.

Also, the feature set is identical. Honestly, it looks like they used Okii’s open source software and simply redesigned the casing and button placement.

Hopefully it’s not just an overseas copy that costs more than the original!
