Quick Take: Chrosziel Dv Balancer Hand Held Rig.

Cameras

Here is a Quick Take video of the DV Balancer Rig from Chrosziel. At first we thought the belly bar on this hand held rig was somewhat goofy but after hooking it up to our new Panasonic AF100, we are willing to give it a second try. We finally got this camera and AKS hooked up and are going out tonight to shoot a few tests with it. In all honesty we are still on the fence with this camera. It seems like we will have to get some very fast glass and may need to add some type of filtration to get the look we want. We are excited about the audio inputs and hot swappable SD cards. We are planning on using it for our upcoming SXSW documentary about the JAG35 crew in Austin. We got a few tips from HD Warrior on some of the settings for the AF100. It’s worth checking out just for the killer Scottish Accents on the demo video. Thanks to 16 X 9 Inc for hooking us up with the DV Balancer. It costs around $650 US.
