“Someday Hero” directed by: Darcy Fray and shot by yours truly has been tied up in the Film Festival circuit for some time now. Finally we are able to show it to the general public at this special screening. The screening will be held at the El Cid Short Film Night April 6th, 2011 at 8pm. The film is about a boy who is abused by his father and grows up to be a superhero impersonator for kids parties. One day he gets his chance to be a real hero. The film was shot on a very slim budget with Canon HDSLR cameras. Try and check it out if you are in Los Angeles, it’s a winner.

Jared Abrams is a cinematographer based in Hollywood, California. After many years as a professional camera assistant he switched over to still photography. About two years ago a new Canon camera changed the way the world sees both motion and still photography. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
