The Premiere Of The Whistle Bait Doc At The Hideout Theatre 3/11/11
Hot Dog! We snagged a venue to premiere our short documentary “The Whistle Bait”. This short documentary is about the live show The Whistle Bait where the Vintage Scene meets Burlesque and then wraps itself back to the fifties and sixties. We spent the past six months gathering interviews with key personalities of this genre of music, movies and lifestyle. Misa Garcia of JAG35 played a key role in both promoting the shows and producing this film. It is a must go to event if you are in Austin, Texas. The Hideout Theatre is located in beautiful Downtown Austin. The screening is a one time only event that will be held March 11th at 6pm. Please email wideopencamera@gmail.com and put The Whistle Bait Doc SXSW in the header to reserve a seat. Seating is limited to the first fifty people. We will also give out some prizes to a few lucky attendees. Here is a rip from The Hideout Theatre’s site.
“We’ve been downtown for all of our life. We’re one of the few options for live entertainment downtown that doesn’t involve drinking until you pass out, or destroying your eardrums with mind-numbingly loud music.
