Wide Open Camera Combat Cage For The GoPro Hero 3. *UPDATE* First Working Prototype!

Here is the first mock up drawing 3D Rendering  Plastic Prototype  cut of the Aluminum Prototype of the new WOC Combat Cage For the GoPro Hero 3 camera. A Huge Thanks! to Dave Aldrich of DFocus for hooking this up! Dave has been working with us on this project for a few months and has been a huge blessing. Let production commence! We are moving at lightning speed to get a color 3D rendition and the first prototype out to you. Get our kickstarter campaign up and we should be able to keep the price down to around $100US. We are trying to keep this puppy cheap so she can hunt with the big dogs. We will take her out for a test run this week and get the footage up soon. Please stay tuned!

Done! We knocked that out in less than 48 hours! The next prototype will be out soon and I’m going to tap this one and take it for a spin. It locks down tighter than a well digger’s ass! You can open it without moving the cage. A huge bonus for professionals. I am super excited about this one! First Aluminum proto next week. stay tuned.

We are working on the details for a possible Kickstarter campaign to help get the first 100 made. Stay tuned here for updates as we get them. Thanks!

*UPDATE* We are working out the details on the final price now but it looks like we should be able to offer the first 100 at around one hundred bucks $125 each! We are trying to keep the final street price down and will share that process with you as we progress. Stay Tuned here for more info.

*UPDATE #2* Here is a 3D render of the new Wide Open Camera Combat Cage. We will have a prototype by end of this week and will launch our kickstarter then. This will be a limited run of 100 units. $125 hardware and shipping included.

Jared Abrams is a cinematographer based in Hollywood, California. After many years as a professional camera assistant he switched over to still photography. About two years ago a new Canon camera changed the way the world sees both motion and still photography. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

well, enough time has gone by. While I did not make it on time to Kickstarter, I have been trying to get definitive shipping information on the Combat Cage, but can’t get responses to several emails through your site and kickstarter so it is pretty frustrating. I would like to see and buy your product but in the meantime have been forced to get two of the Redrock Cobalt cages and accessories because I just have no idea what your plans are to get your product into my hands for both testing and use.

Truthfully your lack of response to these questions over the past month and a half really set a pattern of non support on your parts for the future. Please change my mind and get me shipping information.
