		<description><![CDATA[Until you can produce a camera which, when you set your light-meter to its native ASA, exposes correctly, then you can&#039;t bash other camera systems.

Also, the Alexa does a cleaner and more reliable 2k than the RED one. &quot;Only true cinema resolution camera&quot; my arse.

I wish RED would stop inventing proprietary bullshit and just develop a stable freaking camera system. HDRx, R3D, 5k, it&#039;s all crap. (see this excellent article: http://magazine.creativecow.net/article/the-truth-about-2k-4k-the-future-of-pixels)]]></description>

Ted basically skipped over the Arri Alexa, a more expensive but hugely more stable camera.. A few years ago, it was easier to be enthusiastic about Red, but now, since they still can&#039;t deliver ANY product on schedule, I&#039;m almost wishing that the new cameras by Sony and the upcoming 4K JVC camcorder will drive these jerks out of business. 

I talked with John Rhys-Davies about a months ago right after he came back from a set visit of the Hobbit in New-Zeland and the cinematographer, Andrew Lesnie, apparently has a love/hate relationship with the terribly buggy Red Epic cameras. 

Shut up already, Ted, and deliver your Scarlets !]]></description>
