]]> By: Michael http://gdmig-wideopencamera.com/cameras/zooms-vs-primes-dammit/comment-page-1/#comment-278 Wed, 29 Dec 2010 17:46:57 +0000 http://wideopencamera.com/?p=1491#comment-278 well …the old struggle… in the my fist days of DSLR i was 90-100% primes only …. but after “testing” some nice usable zooms “in the field” i’m now more like 50:50 😉 … if i have no time on location (esp. so with corporate film shootings) i more likely use almost every time a zoom lens only ( i’m suprisingly happy with my Sigma 17-70mm even it is f2.8-4.5) … prime-lenses are on my 60D if it comes to “beauty-shots” & low light (like my vintage 50mm f1.4) … just saying
